Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in Harrington Park, NJ, and who would like to work with high school students! Soliant has partnered with a regional District for the Spring semester and is seeking a full-time contract SLP.
The applicant will be working with students who are part of the region's special instructional programs. Additional information about the District, and the locations of these programs, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology License
As a school-based SLP, you will :
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Provide individual and / or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
