A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist - Prior Authorization.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborates with team members to process referrals and perform clinical assessments
Evaluates prior authorization requests and renders coverage determinations based on clinical criteria
Communicates decisions regarding cases to healthcare providers and maintains professional knowledge of drug and disease states
Required Qualifications
2 years' experience as a pharmacist in a PBM setting
Experience with clinical resources such as Micromedex and Lexicomp
Prior authorization experience in a PBM setting
Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D
