Test Technician (F9 Subassemblies)

Responsibilities :

• Perform pneumatic and hydraulic acceptance (ATP) and qualification (QTP) testing of flight hardware and document results in a clear, precise and complete manner
• Work with high-pressure pumps and high-pressure gases such as helium and nitrogen
• Use mechanical hand tools and torque wrenches to layout, fabricate, assemble, and install experimental / production flight hardware for mock-ups, full-scale operating models, and test assemblies
• Use basic and advanced electronic test equipment / software to run performance tests on parts
• Analyze and interpret test data to meet acceptance criteria established by engineering
• Work with design engineers to troubleshoot failures of parts and test equipment. Repair or replace flight hardware due to engineering design changes and test failures
• Responsible for preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems

Pay range : Test Technician / Level 1 : $23.00 - $27.00 / hour Test Technician / Level 2 : $26.00 - $32.50 / hour Test Technician / Level 3 : $31.00 - $38.00 / hour Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
