About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum years of experience unspecified License : Licensed Physical Therapist within the state Certifications : American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers Must-Have : Quick start availability Job Description : - Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and document any changes in treatment plans. - Use effective communication skills to educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
- Operate and manage equipment and materials related to physical therapy treatments. - Adhere to the policies and procedures of the healthcare facility and maintain a high standard of care.
- Provide feedback and support to peers and other healthcare professionals when needed. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in physical therapy practice.
Note : This position requires the use of Cerner as an electronic medical record (EMR) system. Additional Notes : Holiday coverage is not required.
