$2100 Weekly Average, Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• $1250 / wk min guarantee for 5 consecutive days worked
• Hourly Pay : $32.00 Per Hour
• Regional within 350-mile radiusof your house
• Must have reliable transportation
• 1 year Flatbed experience required
• NST Tenure bonus $1000 each year when actively employed from Nov 1st Oct 31st.
• Endorsements : Tanker & Doubles / Triples required; Hazmat preferred
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel OR Sleeper
• Schedule : Monday Friday -Must be Flexible
• Hours per Week : 50 average

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Deliver SOLO To : CA, NM, AZ, NV, UT, CO,OR, WA, MT
• Route : Regional
• Tractor Type : Super Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters
• Able to accept automatic restrictions.
• Trailer Type : Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 28’, 48', 53’
• Equipment : Electric Pallet Jack
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight : Combination of Touch and No Touch Freight
• We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsements
• Comprehensive Benefits start 30 days after hire
• Paid Time Off Starts at Day 1- 80 hours accrued in 1st year

The starting salary for this position is $62,400. Employees may also be eligible for a Shift Differential

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
