Sales Director – Enterprise Data Management (EDM) – New York
Our client, one of the world’s leading providers of financial data and technology solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join their team and drive the sales of their Enterprise Data Management Solutions (EDM) to financial institutions across North America.
This role will be based in New York and will require a deep understanding of the capital markets and a proven track record of selling complex solutions in this industry.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for Enterprise Data Management Solutions.
- Identify and target potential clients within the financial institutions sector in North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target organizations.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer success to ensure customer needs are met and solutions are effectively delivered.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of EDM solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and progress towards targets on a regular basis.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically selling complex solutions into the capital markets globally.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of enterprise data management solutions and their application within the financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of the capital markets and financial institutions in North America.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
