Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN NICU 48’s

Shift : Rotating D / N, 7a-7p / 7p-7a, 12 4, 48hrs per week, Will accept 36’s, EOW, EOH

Length : 13 weeks

Other Details :

• Charting : Cerner
• First timers not accepted
• Locals accepted
• Will float to other critical care units
• Ratios : Depends on the acuity of the unit so there are various ratios (1 : 1; 1 : 2; 1 : 3, 1 : 4 (rarely happens)). Most common for majority of patients would be 1 : 2
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline) : Required + Booster No Exemptions, Current Booster
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline) : Unknown

MUST have NICU IV experience. RECENT Trach and Vent Exp REQUIRED.

MUST be able to ROTATE travelers will rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks facility will try to accommodate straight shifts if the schedule allows but will not be able to list that on contract, should schedule needs change.

Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday.

Registered Nurse NICU

Start date : Must Start within 3-4 weeks of date offered

Shifts : D / N Rotating Rotating is not within the same week; every few weeks

Years of experience REQ : 2+ years of experience

First-timers accepted : No

Certs REQ : BLS

Is on-call REQ? NO

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes will float to other critical care units. No Age Cut Off may have patients of any age

Open to accommodating block schedule? They will work the best they can but cannot guarantee

Locals accepted : YES

Pending License accepted : Yes must show screenshot of license pending and provide the date the license application was submitted

NO BG hits or License hits allowed no exemptions accepted

RTO Restrictions : no more than 1 week if missing a full week must make up at the end of contract

Guaranteed Hours : 36 open to 48 hours with no OT until after 48 hours

Special Requirements :

MUST have NICU IV experience. RECENT Trach and Vent Exp REQUIRED.

More Department Details :

Will be dealing with the highest level of care for premature and ill newborns, as designated by The American Academy of Pediatrics.

Offer the full range of pediatric medical subspecialists, pediatric surgical subspecialists, and pediatric anesthesiologists on site.

Perform complex surgical procedures to repair complex congenital or acquired conditions.

Coordinate all aspects of care for conditions and associated complications including : coagulation defects, congenital heart defects, Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), gastrointestinal disorders, genetic and / or metabolic disorders, prematurity, respiratory distress and failure, pulmonary hypertension, renal disorders and sepsis and septic shock.

Missed shifts are required to be made up within the same week.

If offered and accepted, must provide photo upon contract signature.
