Overview

SIGN ON AND RELOCATION IS OFFERED!

Respiratory Therapists at Northern Arizona Healthcare :

• We have a robust Adult Vent Protocol (AVP) we run the vents, using the AVP tool we decide Mode, setting’s, weaning and in conjunction with Team ( MD, RN, RT) decide extubation readiness
• Work in all areas : ED / Trauma, CVICU, MICU, TICU, PICU, SCN, Peds and Med / Surg Tele…not restricted to a specialty (this includes New Grad’s after thorough orientation)
• We are the only level 1 Trauma Center north of the Phoenix metro area
• We are highest elevation in North America performing Open Heart surgery (7400 ft)

Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner treats patients with pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner meets with patients, diagnoses ailments, designs treatment plans and conducts tests to assess lung capacity and gas levels. The Senior Respiratory Respiratory Care Practitioner will have at least one specialty credential such as Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), or Neonatal / Pediatric Specialty (NPS).
