About The Position

Job Title : Rad Tech Job Specialty : EP Tech (Electrophysiology Lab) Job Duration : 16 weeks Shift : 12-hour all shifts Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab experience License : WA license required in-hand Certifications : - ACLS - BLS - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) via CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Must-Have : - Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring - Expertise in scrubbing and recording devices and ablations Job Description : Operate electrophysiology specialty equipment, including 3D mapping systems, stimulation systems, intracardiac echocardiography, EP monitoring / recording systems, and cardiac device programmers - Serve as a role model and expert resource for standards of care in electrophysiology procedures - Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting EP specialty equipment used during procedures - Demonstrate expertise in using radiological equipment and in applying safety and shielding techniques - Implement safe, competent, and efficient care within hospital and departmental policies and procedures - Collect, assess, and document data in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to provide procedural care - Assure informed patient consent has been obtained and that all questions and concerns have been addressed satisfactorily - Ensure Universal Protocol standards are followed and met for all invasive procedures - Maintain daily safety checklists for various equipment (e.

g., crash cart, defibrillator) - Document equipment problems in service logs and initiate service calls - Transport patients as necessary using appropriate safety resources - Perform other related duties as assigned This opportunity utilizes the Epic Systems Corporation's EpicCare Inpatient EMR charting system.

The basic requirement does not include a BSN. The cancellation policy allows for one shift cancellation per two-week period.
