Position at Leman Manhattan Preparatory School Léman is seeking a driven and strategic Associate Director of Admissions & Outreach to help the school build visibility and reach its enrollment goals.

As a critical member of the Admissions team, this role serves as a compelling spokesperson for Léman, reaches new families through strategic outreach, and drives enrollment growth.

This is a full-time, 12-month position that reports to the Head of Communications & Enrollment Management and is part of a dynamic team of admissions, marketing and communications professionals.Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as an enthusiastic and engaged spokesperson for Léman.
  • Lead outreach, communications and events for prospective families that effectively showcase Léman’s differentiators.
  • Give school tours and attend on campus and off site admissions and marketing events; effectively tell the Léman story with enthusiasm and ability to tailor messages to specific audiences.
  • Conduct parent and student interviews to assess candidate fit, answer family questions, and highlight Léman offerings.

Ensure applicant files are accurate and complete with detailed notes.

  • Communicate regularly with admissions pipeline to grow interest in Léman and drive enrollment results.
  • Assess financial aid applications and make award recommendations that support Léman’s goals.
  • Lead revisit day events for accepted students.
  • Conduct strategic outreach to feeder schools, consultants and other businesses to grow interest in Léman.
  • Develop and execute outreach plan to introduce Léman to new markets and grow word of mouth.
  • Track and analyze admissions metrics to drive strategy. Create reports and updates for leadership as needed.
  • Oversee Parent and Student Ambassador Programs. Lead trainings, arrange for spokespeople at events, and manage volunteers.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in school admissions, teaching, administration or related field
  • Enthusiastic, effective, and credible communicator
  • Ability to convey Léman’s academic results and community strength verbally and in writing
  • Sincere interest in participating in the life of the school
  • Professional, service-oriented, reliable and responsive
  • Able to interpret data into actionable initiatives
  • Flexible and effective at juggling multiple projects at the same time
  • Familiar with Ravenna and Google suite
  • Able to attend evening and weekend school events and travel locally and for professional development and conferences as needed
