The Clinical Response Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for performing on-site visits to donor hospitals within 3 hour radius of Memphis, TN.
The CRC will determine initial suitability of potential organ and tissue donors. This will be done by communicating and interacting with the hospital and physician teams, will evaluate specific case dynamics and determine which information is clinically significant and should be communicated to the hospital and physician teams and Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF) staff who are off-site.
The CRC will also assess available clinical data found in the medical records and / or through bedside assessment to determine initial medical suitability for donation.
WORKING HOURS : Full Time. 12 to 15 days per month. Call schedule is a 24 hr shift. Must be available to work 2 wkends per month and some holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS : Experience as a RN in ICU setting preferred, or Advanced EMT / Paramedic. Degree in medical or related field acceptable.
Must have a minimum of 2 years clinical or hospital experience. Salary range is based on experience : $60k / yr - $74k / yr.
Must have full liability auto insurance since you use your car for business use.
