IFS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is vital member of the operations team.
Job Summary : The Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the successful completion of assigned projects.
The Project Manager participates in managing project financials, risk management, and client relations.

Requirements :
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Minor project management may be required working with Project Managers, Shop Superintendent, Field Superintendent, Engineering Department and Customers.
- Structural and Miscellaneous steel detailing knowledge
- Review and submit shop drawings to general contractor
- Review and submit required submittals per specification
- Review shop and erection drawings for fabrication and erection with
accurate details and weld symbols
- Comply with AISC policies and procedures manuals
- Review advanced bill of materials and submit for procurement
- Document control including R.F.I. logs, Shop Drawings and Contracts
- Prepare and submit change orders
- Provide as-built drawings for post project close out activities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and other workers in the same project
- Choose subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities
- Responsible for any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise
- Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
- Report project progress and budget to management
- Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Construction Management, or related field, and minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience in Commercial, residential and / or Industrial Projects.
- Experience in materials purchasing and gathering product data for projects as required.
- Knowledge in structural and miscellaneous metal design
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and network storage file management.
- Must be able to interpret Construction Documents, Arch. & Structural Drawings and Specs accurately.
Travel Requirements : Occasional travel is required.
Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent periods of repeating the same movements.
Walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand. Talk and hear at normal levels. See with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have
the ability to adjust focus. Reach with hands and arms. Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines.
Lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
