Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an ARRT (MR) certified MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience for a travel assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital MRI department
  • Full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
  • Shifts may vary, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • On-call shifts include after-hours, weekends, and holidays via pager
  • EPIC charting system is used
  • Produce high quality MRI images that meet departmental standards
  • Operate a variety of MRI equipment and technology safely
  • Apply safety guidelines for self, support staff, and patients
  • Must be organized, efficient, and able to multitask independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Teamwork and flexibility to staff various locations, shifts, and length of shifts are needed
  • COVID vaccination and booster are required
  • Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year before a 30-60 day break is required

  • ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
  • Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required
  • Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program
  • Active license required if applicable
  • AHA or American Red Cross certification required
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
