job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFoster an environment that embodies Fairmount Park Casino & Racing philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere Enthusiastically promote Fairmount Park customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations Conduct independent audits within the company for review of accounting, financial, and other operations to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of accounting and management controls Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and the submitted system of internal controls Ensure that adequate controls are designed into new systems or major enhancements to existing systems to protect against significant loss or serious errors Manage the internal audit functions including audit plan development, performance analysis, and resource management Review procedures and safeguards for company assets and properties Ascertain the reliability of accounting and other data produced within the company. Report actual or suspected improper or illegal acts by team members to the Illinois Gaming Board and the Internal Audit and Compliance Committee. Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications : Must have a four-year degree in Business Administration Must have 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in the Casino industry Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must have above-average math skills to count money accurately and quickly Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board Job Type : Full-time Pay : From $100,000.00 per year Benefits : 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule : 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Weekends as needed Application Question(s) : Do you have the availability to obtain and maintain a Illinois Gaming License?
