Job Title : School Nurse (RN) - 1 : 1 Caseload with Transport Duties
Location : Concord, New Hampshire
Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a school setting, providing personalized care with a 1 : 1 student caseload.
This role is crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of our students throughout their school day, including during transportation to and from school.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care and health supervision to a designated student with specific medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess the student's health status regularly, documenting observations and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborate closely with parents / guardians, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and adherence to healthcare plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans (EAPs) as needed.
- Accompany and provide medical oversight during transportation to and from school, ensuring the safety and comfort of the student.
- Educate school staff, students, and families on health-related topics and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
