I.  DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Texas Department of Motor Vehicles requires the services of 1 Salesforce Developer, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Salesforce Developer, Applications / Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.

Performs complex (senior-level) computer programming work in support of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), Information Technology Services Division. Writes or modifies existing Salesforce cloud code and configuration of the eLicensing based upon business requirements or verbal instruction from management with the objective of meeting agency needs in one or more agency divisions / units. Trains others thru design specifications or product demos. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Graduation from an accredited 4yr college / university with major in computer science, CIS, MIS or related field plus 8+ yrs of progressive experience in programming or systems analysis / design. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Experience working with large data sets and bulkification

Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web service

Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java; General web development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript

Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and C# language

Well-versed with the Lightning framework; Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.

Experience with SVN, GitHub, JIRA

Experience in writing software development documentation, including designs, mockups, workflows, test cases to ensure functional and optimized performance, knowledge transfer documents, etc.

Advanced scripting skills

Experience in technical report writing and documentation specifications.
