Volt is having a job fair on 10 / 23 / 25 at the Workforce Solutions office in Dallas, Texas! We are seeking Electro-Mechanical Assemblers and General Laborers!

Job Fair Location : 1125 Buckner Blvd Dallas, Texas 75217

As an Assembler, you will :

  • Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Performs light physical tasks such as changing conveyor width.
  • Performs solder masking, taping non-solderable area, installing e-prom into the sockets, and placing Rev labels on the boards per production's documents.
  • Fills out returned forms of conforming and nonconforming materials and prepares setup kits for the incoming shift.
  • Performs basic touch-up, removal, and placement, inspecting own work and the work of others, following applicable work instructions and quality procedures.

As a General Laborer you will :

  • Clean and clear debris from work site
  • Load and unload materials and transporting materials to designated areas
  • Operate various construction equipment as needed
  • Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
  • Use a variety of tools, including hand brushes, rollers, and sprayers, as well as power equipment for different jobs
  • Match custom paint colors, perform touch-ups, and inspect finished work to ensure it meets project requirements and aesthetic standards
  • Following safety protocols, wearing personal protective equipment, and reporting any hazards or incidents to supervisors
  • This is a FULL-TIME, TEMP TO PERM opportunity.

    Multiple Shift Schedules

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • Strong manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Must be able to read / write / speak English
  • 6 months of manufacturing or related experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Pay Rate :

  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
