Full Time RN - Medical Surgical Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as coordinate the care provided by other members of the healthcare team.
The RN will also be responsible for educating patients and their families about their health conditions and treatments.
Qualifications :
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of nursing experience
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate the care provided by other members of the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient vital signs
- Document patient care in the medical record
- Communicate with other members of the healthcare team
- Follow hospital policies and procedures
