X-Ray Technologist Per Diem

Location : La Palma Intercommunity Hospital (LPIH), California

Department : Diagnostic Radiology X-Ray

Schedule : As Needed | No on-call required

Start Date : ASAP

Note : Weekly shifts are not guaranteed

Position Overview

The X-Ray Technologist (Per Diem) performs a wide range of diagnostic radiologic exams to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment planning. This role supports the Radiology Department on an as-needed basis and requires a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic x-ray procedures.

Prepare and position patients for imaging.

Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Follow all hospital, departmental, and radiologic safety protocols.

Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure timely and accurate imaging.

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification required.

California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT) required.

Fluoroscopy permit preferred or must be obtained within required timeframe.

BLS certification required and must be maintained.

Minimum 1 year of radiologic experience preferred.
