Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital, the Senior Manager of Digital Wholesale (Amazon) will be responsible for owning the strategic vision and day-to-day management of our Amazon business in order to help drive significant growth.

The Sr Manager will partner with internal cross-functional partners, Amazon Vendor Management, as well as an external agency in order to deliver results.

This person should have experience running both 1P and 3P Amazon businesses. The ideal candidate will over index in attention to detail, organization, and process creation / improvement.

They will be data driven - leveraging internal and external data to provide insights and recommendations. Must be entrepreneurial;

champions new ideas leveraging insights and metrics.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the digital wholesale strategy and lead tactical operations to increase product demand, drive sales, acquire customers, and promote the overall online presence of the brand
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key eCommerce initiatives, promotions, demand planning, and brand marketing
  • Review selling data, trends, and best practices to optimize online catalog and marketing performance
  • Responsible for assortment curation and inventory buy recommendations against Amazon forecasts (in partnership with planning and leadership)
  • Own strategy and execution of deals and key annual events
  • Communicate best sellers / slow sellers and provide recommendations to drive business forward
  • Own Amazon Agency Relationship : communicate directly with agency on all aspects of business; Ex. Promotional strategy, product whitespace, growth opportunities, inventory position, etc.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and curate compelling content to attract visitors and promote customer conversion.
  • Communicate business objectives, sales trend and goals for the year
  • Post-Deal analysis and reporting (Prime Day, Prime Exclusive, T5 and all deals)
  • Work with Agency to audit existing PDP catalog for consistent CX (identifying orphaned styles, broken pages, image issues / other errors affecting conversion)
  • Create & deliver forward looking plans to address sales and operational opportunities, activate seasonal categories, or further leverage momentum
  • Communicate timely and effectively
  • Recommend enhancements and works to identify new tools, processes and technologies.

Position Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital wholesale industry experience, with 2+ running an Amazon business. Retail apparel experience preferred.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Amazon and Marketplaces best practices
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor and Seller Central
  • Experience with Amazon Demand Forecasting
  • Exceptional organizational skills, and ability to work independently and autonomously
  • MS Office Proficient
  • Ownership and Cross functional trust
  • Retail Math Proficient
  • Ability to mentor and manage junior team members
  • Entrepreneurial and Optimistic
  • Travel may be required, based on business needs.
  • Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
  • Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
  • Ability to carry equipment, move boxes / samples, etc.
