Position Summary : The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing overall support to the HR team. This position will schedule interviews, assist with orientation, process new hires, and manage the employee files.

Primary Responsibilities Include :

  • Greet visitors, answer phones, respond to requests for forms / information, take messages if employee needs more information, manage employee inbox
  • Create and distribute name badges to employees
  • Distribute competency assessment forms and job descriptions to supervisors for reviews
  • Assist with special projects such as health fairs and fundraising events.
  • Coordinate employee appreciation events
  • Maintain HR specific supplies
  • Assist with department audits

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
  • Maintain regulatory compliance in accordance with state and federal guidelines
