About The Position
Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Per Week Experience : Minimum of 1+ Years Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Must-Have : Experience in Ortho, specifically total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, open reduction and internal fixation (ORIFs), and shoulder scopes and replacements- Vascular proficiency- Neuro proficiency- Completion of 2+ travel assignments Job Description : Assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing scrub duties.
- Provide assistance in both emergency and elective / scheduled surgical procedures.- Support in the preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients.
- Maintain continuous education in the surgical operating room and related aspects of patient care.- Participate in 5-6 on-call shifts per month, specifically for call duties.
- Work under the supervision of relevant authorities, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Candidates must provide work history, a skills checklist current to one year, and two supervisory references with employment dates listed.
A permanent address is required, and local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered.
