Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Production Operators, Equipment Engineers, and Process Engineers to correct equipment problems, improve equipment performance and improve product quality and yield
- Install, maintain and modify equipment in a high-speed wafer fab production environment
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules in accordance with company guidelines
- Identify and troubleshoot potential equipment malfunctions, coordinating repairs with appropriate personnel
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including documentation of work performed and parts replaced
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, identifying trends and recommending improvements
- Handling chemical bottles (Si, P, B, ) and changing them when needed
- monitor consumables for reorder
For CVD :
- Perform preventive maintenance on APCVD WJ systems
- CVD injector installation, removal, cleaning, and qualification
- Process exhaust system cleaning using vacuums and brushes
- Shield and Vent cleaning maintenance
- Working with Hydrofluoric acid (HF)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a PM Technician in the semiconductor industry
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment and maintenance processes
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret equipment performance data
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment inspections
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high volume, high temperature fiberoptic manufacturing environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to lift 60+ lbs
