Job Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION : BluSky's Environmental Services National Project Manager is a nationwide traveling position, responsible for the day-to-day management of all assigned environmental projects, including but not limited to, customer service and communication, vendor selection and buyout, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting and financial reporting, proactive safety compliance, and quality control.

This role is also responsible for working closely with all project stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Base Salary Range is : $85,000 - $95,000

Commission OTE Range is : $50,000 - $100,000

Vehicle Allowance

Region : Supports the US, Nationwide, with up to 100% travel and a boots-on-the-ground approach.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Field Management

  • Builds rapport with project stakeholders and instill confidence in your PM abilities.
  • Performs all contracted scopes per Best Practices.
  • Ensures all work is properly contracted / subcontracted.
  • Obtains building permits as required and follow all government guidelines for each permit and project.
  • Adheres to all OSHA and Environment regulations.
  • Assists Project Director with change orders.
  • Manages site personnel and subcontractors. Drive safety, quality, and productivity in the field.
  • Performs buyout, submittal process, quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, and closeout successfully.
  • Ensures the highest level of customer communication and customer service.
  • Ensures an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensures project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned.

Office Management

  • Ensures all subcontractors are working under a proper subcontract agreement, per Best Practices.
  • Approves or rejects invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your project team.
  • Properly projects, records, and maintains all project costs on budget worksheets.
  • Meets or improves upon revenue and profit margin goals as defined by BluSky.
  • Creates, updates, and presents project schedules to customer, Project Director, and VP weekly.
  • Responsible for directing, mentoring, and training junior level team members.
  • Tracks change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order form and budget updates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :

This position leads, manages, trains, and develops site personnel and subcontractors on assigned jobs. Provides Team building amongst Blusky group.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :

Required

  • 7+ years Abatement or construction PM experience with $5M+ commercial, state, university, or federal projects.
  • Expert in trades, Abatement processes, project management, financials, processes, and administration.
  • Strong business ethics, integrity, and ability to perform in highly autonomous environments.
  • Effective and strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient computer and technology skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and local officials.

Preferred

  • OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Abatement experience with multi-family, hotel, and multi-building campus.
  • Preferred Fluent in English & Spanish.

EDUCATION :

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Or 10+ years full time Environmental or Construction Project Management experience with sophisticated clientele.

TRAVEL :

Travel from 25% up to 90% as needed. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
