Position Summary :
Skilled Trade / Carpenter holds a tremendous amount of responsibility in the success of Amerestore Restoration
as a company. This position will be expected to be hard-working, dedicated, on-time every day, and the ability
to take direction, listen and learn. The Carpenter will present themselves in a professional manner, including but
not limited to dress code, hygiene, attitude, commitment, timeliness, and a positive attitude. You will work
alongside the mitigation team helping them with carpenter work as well. Positivity is Contagious!!

Essential Roles & Responsibilities :
Basic Job knowledge
o Ability to photo document properly / close up / corner to corner / important items.
o Ability to perform restoration services and physical duties outside of carpenter work.
o Ability to labor for extended periods of time.
o Ability to run hand tools and power tools proficiently.
o Willingness to dress in PPE (personal protective equipment)
Contaminated environments
Confined spaces
Heavy odor situations
Hazardous waste clean-up
Microbial environments
o General knowledge of construction and restoration
o Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
o Manage and organize job materials efficiently to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
o Keep and inventory of materials and request restocking as needed.
o Measure and cut materials to precise specifications as required.
o Ensure the quality and accuracy of all carpentry work.
o Construct, install, and repair structures, fixtures and furniture using various tools and equipment.
Communication on phone and email
o Availability to answer and respond to calls and emails in a timely manner.
o We are an emergency service company 24 / 7 / 365.
o Maintain effective communication as needed.
o Report progress, issues, and project updates in a timely manner

o Recognizing risk and safety on projects to ensure safe work sites for employees and clients.

o Keeping and maintaining clean and safe jobsite
o Minimizing risk to clients and staff

o Availability to be on call.
o Availability to storm duty or cat duty (may include travel)
o Sense of urgency regarding projects and communication
o Valid Driver’s license and legal to work in USA.
o Complete timesheets daily
o A strong eye for detail and willing to SAY SOMETHING if you see something.
o Reporting information to management
o Willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to complete the job 100%.
o Job requires dedication for a 24 / 7 / 365 position (we are an emergency service company servicing
the entire country)
o Precision and a keen eye for detail when producing high quality painting finishes.
o Proficiency in painting techniques, color mixing and knowledge of different types of paints and
coatings.
o Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the painting process, such as adhesion
problems, peeling and other possible defects.
o Proficiency in drywall installation, taping, mudding and sanding.
o Sanding of drywall surfaces to create a smooth and even texture.
o Other duties when assigned.
o Work with the Amerestore mitigation team on Water, Fire & Mold Projects
Physical Demands The ability to fulfill any activities normally expected in a restoration / construction management,
to include but not limited to
- Participating in field / hospital type situations
- Lifting and carrying up to 50+ pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, bend, walk, work for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel when required (primarily scheduled travel)
