Position Summary :

The Scientist / Sr. Scientist, Cellular Assays will plan and execute in vitro to evaluate novel drug conjugates for applications in oncology and other areas of unmet medical need.

The position is lab-facing and on-site. Title and compensation package will be based on prior experience.

Responsibilities :

Develop and perform in vitro cellular assays to evaluate novel payloads, antibodies, and drug conjugates on cell culture and ex vivo samples

Establish strong in-house capabilities to perform in vitro experiments with high throughput

Measure target expression on and in cells and tissues

Manage cell line procurement, storage, and inventory

Participate in project teams

Requirements and Experience :

B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degree in relevant scientific discipline with appropriate work experience

Strong hands-on experience in designing and executing in vitro experiments to validate targets and treatment ideas using ADCs, mAbs, and small molecules

Experience with flow cytometry, cell culture, cell viability assays, Western blot analysis, cell-based fluorescence and chemiluminescence assays, and cell line engineering

Proven capabilities in maintenance of cell line health and longevity

Experience with handling animal and human tissues

Highly organized, diligent, and quality focused with good computer and documentation skills

Creativity and problem-solving skills paired with ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Skills :

Good utility of bioinformatic tools for target validation

Experience in IHC and / or proteomics
