Overview

Aviary Productions is seeking a VFX Artist for Games. We are a team of game developers and students creating a high-quality portfolio game using Unreal Engine 5. The aim is to launch this game on Steam for free, showcasing multiple portfolio pieces for each contributor. This is a free, part-time position to gain industry experience. Applicants must be willing to learn and be ambitious enough to look things up.

Location : Florida, United States (Tampa, FL).

Responsibilities

• You will receive tasks to work on in-game VFX elements using Niagara.
• You will work with fellow designers and artists to create the best visual effects for the environment, weapons, creatures, explosions and more.
• Design, implement, and optimize VFX systems in Unreal Engine.
• Communicate roadblocks and be proactive with your team lead.
