Overview

Telecommunications Network Engineer – First, Second, and Third Shift. Requires Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) LAN by providing telecom engineering and operational support for current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN).
  • Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, updating it as changes are imposed during the lifecycle from development through deployment, operations, and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of network operations experience. Higher level education or military service can be used in lieu of two (2) years of network operations experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications network design and management.
  • Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and / or network management systems to support voice and data services.
  • Experience in performing and providing for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware / software systems.

    • Certification Requirements

  • IA Level : IAT-II — one of the following : CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
  • and one of the following : CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE

    • Security Clearance

  • Top Secret

    • Salary

  • $80k-$90k
