The community you’ll be caring for : AdventHealth Central Florida South (various locations available)
The role you’ll contribute : The Director of Team Member Communications and Engagement leverages innovative interdisciplinary strategies to bring the story of AdventHealth’s culture and employee experience to life, with both internal and external audiences (if applicable).
This role ensures that AdventHealth’s unique internal audiences receive pertinent and dynamic content using best practices in communications, marketing and employee engagement.
They are an advanced communications leader who partners with C-Suite, Human Resources, Marketing, Events, Medical Staff and other teams to bring a unified story and experience to our team members.
They support C-Suite with multiplatform communications to include written and video storytelling, presentation design, ghost writing, and employee events that foster two-way engagement.
They are a skilled content creator who leverages new media strategies to make the team member the star, and inspires the audience to carry out our mission.
They develop strategies that ignite fandom among AdventHealth’s current and future workforce, and connect in ways that attracts and retains top talent.
The Director thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages daily and long-term deadlines and projects with ease. They are a skilled content planner and manager, known for their attention to detail.
Their leadership in a large corporate setting or with corporate clients allows them to serve as a trusted counselor to C-Suite on innovative communications and employee engagement practices.
The value you’ll bring to the team :
- Leads team member communications and engagement team in developing unique campus or business unit strategies to include internal storytelling, and digital and executive communications, if applicable.
- In partnership with campus / business unit C-Suite, Human Resources, Events, MarComm, Digital Marketing, Medical Staff and other departments, activates a holistic communications ecosystem and experience for the team member and medical staff, if applicable.
- Executes the vision for the Division, region or local facility’s team member communications and engagement strategy, and leads the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure we are strategically balancing operational communications, dynamic storytelling and engagement activations.
- Ensures key system and divisional, regional and campus priorities are communicated to team members through appropriate channels, and with dynamic content creation.
- Builds employee advocacy and engagement strategies that grows fans of the AdventHealth brand, and grows ambassadors internally and externally, if applicable.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
- Seven years of experience leading a large communications or integrated marketing and communications team or department for a large, matrixed organization.
- Experience planning and activating events for media, consumers or employees.
