Software Development Engineer, AWS Quicksight

Amazon QuickSight is a scalable, serverless, embeddable, machine learning-powered business intelligence (BI) service built for the cloud.

QuickSight lets you easily create and publish interactive BI dashboards as well as pixel perfect reports. QuickSight dashboards and reports can be accessed from any device, and seamlessly embedded into your applications, portals, and websites.

The team has reinvented how visualizations and reports are produced and distributed by supporting their authoring in a unified tool.

We have just started on this journey and has lot of autonomy in delivering the future of serverless reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to influence decisions related to system architecture, feature development and product strategy.

You will be building complex distributed systems with AWS Serverless and MicroService Architecture.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry.

As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
