About the Role :

Pack high quality ice cream cones, pie crusts, and animal crackers into boxes in a safe and efficient manner

Main Responsibilities :

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to :

• Pack finished product in accordance with prescribed packaging
• Maintain quality of product and production efficiency.
• In all packing operations, remove inferior product or packaging materials.
• Alert Operators of any problems or malfunctions.

Safely remove packaging materials from material racks and assemble at workstations as required.

Seal cases as needed.

Maintain housekeeping in their general work area.

Performs additional duties as they relate to this job classification

Who we are looking for :

• Able to work overtime, weekends, when required.
• Willing to work various shifts
• Must be available on an as needed basis; willing to train in areas where needed, and be available to work as scheduled
• Must be willing and able to read factory documents as necessary to understand and follow equipment operation, quality standards and safety procedures
• Must be able to complete paperwork as needed for the job, including documentation of product codes, rejection of materials, material usage and quality records
• Must be willing to communicate with Supervisor, Maintenance, and co-workers about issues and concerns as related to the line operations
• Willing to work in a position that requires you to stand or walk continuously throughout the shift
