Handler Thayer, LLP is an internationally recognized boutique law firm based in downtown Chicago that focuses on Business & Corporate Law, Trusts & Estates and Taxation serving family offices and privately-held companies.
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting or law firms.
Key Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include tax compliance, controversy and planning, drafting, implementing estate plans, and administering estate strategies.
The ideal candidate will have strong fundamental skills in the taxation area relevant to all private clients. Candidates should possess strong communication, drafting, writing, research, and analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications :
JD; candidates with business, financial or tax background qualifications or (LL.M., CFP, CPA, MBA, MST), Law Review, CPA or Business Law Journal experience preferred.
