Industrial Electrician
Wheeling, IL.
Full Time / Permanent hire
1st shift 7 am - 3 : 30 PM
Pay - hourly, dependent on experience
MAIN BULLET POINTS FOR POSITION :
- Read schematics
- Work with voltages up to 480
- Basic PLC knowledge plus
- Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and other types of electrical and electronic controls on various types of equipment found in the plant.
- Experience performing electrical repairs on conveyors, rewinders, punch presses and other high speed production equipment in a fast paced production environment
Job description
This candidate will have minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician.
Packaging environment a plus
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for Machine modifications and rebuilding of electrical components
- Must have working knowledge of Lock out / Tag out
- Responsible for electrical portion of the installation of new equipment
- Facilities electrical work required
- Wiring up to 480 volts
- PLCs a plus (not required)
Requirements
- Basic Math
- Electrical wiring up to 480 volts (PLC's not required)
- Blueprint and Schematic reading
- Computer skills (ability to enter basic data)
- Works well in a team
- Can take the lead when needed
