Collegiate School seeks a dynamic and committed coach who will cultivate and lead all aspects of the boys’ lacrosse program.
The Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach will prepare student athletes for competition using successful coaching techniques and instilling the highest level of integrity and sportsmanship.
This is an exempt, part-time, non-benefited seasonal position with the potential to become a full-time, benefited position if combined with a faculty or staff position depending on the needs of the school and the skills of the candidate.
Responsibilities of the Head Coach will include but not be limited to :
Provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student athletes
Manage leadership and development of the varsity coaching staff
Maintain an up to date knowledge of current strategies, current rules, skill development and instructional techniques
Maintain a current and thorough understanding of our competition
Work with the Athletic Department to establish an appropriate schedule for the team
Maintain thorough and routine communication for the team throughout the year.
Work closely with the other coaches in the program to help develop all levels of the program
Serve as needed on appropriate league and state committees.
Assist players in the NCAA recruiting process

Demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student athletes and fielding competitive teams
Experience in and commitment to the ongoing development and maintenance of an inclusive campus community
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of four years of lacrosse coaching experience is preferred
Depending on qualifications and experience, candidates may be considered for one or both roles described above
