About The Position

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CNOR Preferred

Must-Have : First Scrub Experience is a plus.

Description :

The CVOR department is currently working under a team model.

Each team will consist of 1 RN and 2 CST.

There will be two teams once staffed.

Hours will be from 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM every other week.

Scheduled days will include Friday and Monday every other week.

On-call shifts will consist of after hours on Friday and Sunday the week staff is scheduled.

Assignment periods will require each team to alternate weeks for the schedule.

Floating to the OR will be expected if there is low volume in the CVOR.

Travel pairs and travel trios are welcome.

Staff must float to other units as required due to census concerns.

Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and for tasks in which competencies have been demonstrated and documented.

EMR experience with EPIC is required.

Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information.

Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules, up to 16 hours.

The average daily census is three heart cases per day.
