What You’ll Do
A typical Senior Property Manager / Area Manager’s day might include :
- Coaching a new Property Manager on feedback conversations as they prepare for their team’s quarterly performance reviews.
- Conducting a due diligence inspection for an upcoming acquisition and compile findings into digestible reports for ownership groups.
- Collaborating with Development on new construction projects, providing a keen operational perspective.
- Reprioritizing the maintenance teams' day after a water leak was discovered.
- Brainstorming with the marketing team on fresh community marketing ideas. Such as showcasing a day in the life on TikTok.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
This role might be a fit for you if :
- You take ownership and understand the big picture. You find the small everyday win and find ways to do more with less.
- You are a natural communicator. You can make the complex and scary, simple. Like a family moving from Los Angeles to Des Moines.
You are comfortable communicating on multiple channels such as phone, email, chat, Facebook etc.
- You are curious and driven. You like asking those questions that hit at the root of the problem and then follow up with more questions.
- You are flexible. You enjoy learning new things and rolling with changes. Your availability allows for a flexible work week, which includes some weekend coverage.
- You need to have at least two years' experience in a supervisory capacity managing multiple multifamily communities and have earned an industry designation, such as CAM or CAPS.
Also, we would like to see a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
