Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours for 3x12's, 40 hours for 8 / 10's
Experience : 2 years of direct liver / transplant OR RN experience required
License : Pending License accepted
Certifications : ACLS, BLS (must have before submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
Must-Have : Nicotine-free requirement - Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug Screen required
Job Description :
- Work from 11 : 00 to 23 : 30 with liver call; will handle other cases if no liver / transplant surgeries are scheduled.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- On-call requirement : 1 shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month.
- Nurse manager will discuss additional expectations during the interview.
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required.
- Facility does not accommodate block scheduling.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included upfront during submission; any additional RTO will likely not be approved.
- Teaching facility with 230 total staffed beds.
- Scrub color is Ceil Blue.
- Charting system used : EPIC.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are mandatory, with only medical / religious exemptions accepted.
- Study materials provided for EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation, with only two attempts permitted. No remediation for a re-test.
Travelers will be canceled if failed.
- Strict no-contact policy regarding calling the facility directly.
- Orientation : 16 hours non-billable.
