An educational institution in Oxnard, CA is actively searching for committed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to assist K-12 students.
This onsite position commences on July 24 and concludes on May 27, presenting a valuable opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the educational community.
Candidates are required to possess a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate and are invited to apply their skills in enhancing communication abilities across all student age groups.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy goals and strategies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
- Active Georgia Teaching Certificate.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
