Job Summary
Patient Access Representative is primarily responsible for completing an efficient and organized registration, admission and insurance verification of all inpatients and outpatients.
Excellent customer service and ensure that accurate information is collected. Informs patients and assures they are aware of their rights as determined by HIPAA regulations and Harris Health System policy.
Ensures all accounts contain comprehensive and accurate data to provide for timely billing and optimal reimbursement.
This is a telecommute position that will require occasional on-site meetings / training sessions. During, the first 90 days of employment, the employee will be require to work onsite at the MLK Service Center at 3550 Swingle Road, Houston, TX, 77047.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED.
Work Experience : 1 year in customer service oriented environment.
