hybrid vehicle, engineering, testing and certification of an electric vehicle, and the design

location as week as providing on-site consulting at Tier 1 customer locations.

Role

Pilot Systems is experiencing growth in delivering EV and HEV solutions to our

commercial and military customers. We are looking for an experienced electrical

engineer to be part of a cross functional team to engineer the electrical system for

these applications. As part of the team, you will be the technical specialist responsible

for designing and delivering the electrical systems to meet customer requirements and

specifications. In many of the applications this will involve the integration of

commercial off the shelf electrical components,

Primary Responsibilities Include

Working with the Director of Engineering and Business Development leader to plan

and scope the electrical portions of project deliverables.

Leading and working hands on with a cross functional team delivering advanced

Prototype EV and HEV vehicles for commercial and defense applications.

Based on requirements : design, implement, develop test plans and oversee /

contribute to testing and validation.

• Ensure customer targets are met.
• Support the Business Development leader and Director of Engineering in securing

new business opportunities.

Define the roadmap to ensure Pilot acquires and has the proper tools, resources,

and skills to deliver systems now and into the future.

Required Skills for Success

Senior level experience designing and implementing electrical architectures for

electric vehicle and HEV applications including :

o Battery Systems

o High Voltage Wiring

o Low Voltage Wiring

o Integration of Vehicle Supervisory Controls and BMS.

o EMI and RFI

Senior level experience designing and implementing embedded controls systems

including circuit design, Model Based Software and Assembly Code for Embedded

Systems Software

• Experience with the latest tools for electrical design.
• MS / BS Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ten 15 years of experience
• Ability to work harmoniously and autonomously with Pilot Team members.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
