As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to :
- Provide comprehensive care to adult otolaryngology patients in an inpatient setting and collaboration with interdisciplinary team consisting of residents, speech / swallow therapy, case management and nursing
- First Assist in the OR (preferred but not required)
- Assist with the following procedures : Nasal Cautery, Rigid Nasal Endoscopy, Flexible Diagnostic Laryngoscopy, and Tracheostomy Changes.
- Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients / families with acute, chronic and / or potential health problems.
Education : Minimum -
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner : Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant : Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Preferred - Master's degree or higher.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner : Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP. These include the following : Adult;
Adult / Gerontology Acute Care; Adult / Gerontology Primary Care; Gerontology.
If Physician Assistant : Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have : Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
