Business reason : (Objective : Need. Driver. Why.) The company has different entities, some VC
System Environment : company codes, S / HANA
Team makeup : VC manager / solution architect, other VC FTE developers, looking to standardize VC models
Duties and responsibilities :
- Standardize models built by dozens of other developers, and align them to their standard model (already established by lead architect)
- Provide recommendations to lead architect, starting with order entry section
- Streamline variability to promise, to produce correct lead times (example - if you order units, it'll take days to arrive, if you order units, it'll take weeks to arrive)
- Configure VC models to make customer experience the same across company codes
Soft skills :
- looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, tackle the issues at hand right away
- not looking for an architect / someone who wants to lead the team, more so looking for someone who can be pointed in a direction and work without lots of direction
- They are VC owned, so things change often, need someone who's flexible enough to pivot as needed
- Good with data tracking
