Summary

Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a Principal Engineer who will be at the forefront of reshaping our proprietary cloud services at Eagle Eye Networks.

Imagine driving the design and deployment for hundreds of thousands of high performance media servers streaming millions of video streams with unprecedented reliability.

This is not just a job; it's a thrilling challenge that awaits a dynamic and highly skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the design requirements efficient video processing on low cost edge devices
• Design and own a solution meeting the requirements
• Deliver and monitor production level service
• Great technical communication skills to share the proposed solutions with others
• Lead a small skilled team

Experience

• Amassed over 15 years of mastery in Linux application development within C programming environments
• Proficient in architecting edge appliance applications with a media focus
• Proven knack for deciphering and refining existing code bases effectively
• Demonstrated leadership experience with small, elite teams
• Familiarity with network and streaming transport protocols, including UDP, TCP, RTP / RTCP, RTSP
• A profound understanding of streaming architectures and open source solutions like gstreamer and ffmpeg.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in code and service optimization, particularly in the realm of multimedia
• Bonus points for fluency in Python and Lua, coupled with seamless integration with C
