Millwood Hospital (a UHS Facility) is a -bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment.
Millwood’s caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1.
Millwood Hospital is located in Arlington, TX in the heart of the city. It is 5 minutes away from AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The hospital is less than minutes from DFW International Airport. Position Summary :
The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

PRN status
Rotating Weeks - hour shifts
Weekends Required (days vary)
Qualifications
Requirements :
Education : Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience : A minimum of three (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure : Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements : CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within days of employment.
Successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
