Adams & Martin Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Government Contracts Attorney with with 10 plus years of experience.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of engineering government contracts, negotiations, policies, agreement terms, contract database management, vendor management, etc.
This role involves extensive employee, client & Customer interaction, The candidate should demonstrate strong analytic and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities.
- Understand Legal Terms : Expert level of Government contracts, negotiations, civil engineering laws drafting contract provisions, and policies in documents.
- Revise Contracts : Suggest changes to contract terms during both the proposal and final stages.
- Develop Procedures : Create best practices for handling government contracts
- Client Collaboration : Communicate with employees & clients, complete priority projects on time, and keep internal teams updated.
- Contract Review : Monitor and report on contract compliance and status.
- Contract Management : Oversee contracts from drafting to execution, including legal compliance, negotiation, and managing relationships.
- Contract Implementation : Manage contracts, interpret terms, resolve issues, advise project managers, and ensure compliance.
- Contract Communication : Ensure signed contracts are shared internally and understood for implementation.
- Negotiation : Negotiate with customer attorneys to finalize contracts that satisfy all parties.
- Manage Registrations : Oversee federal, state and local professional registrations and licensing.
Required Qualifications :
Licensed Attorney in Minnesota.
