YOURROLE

TheManager of the Project Management Office (PMO) at Project Equitywill play a key role within the Office of the CEO reportingdirectly to the Chief of Staff & Senior Manager ofOperations and working closely in support of the team leaders inMarketing / Communications Regional Engagement Programs and Systems / Operations.

This newly created role will drive productivityexcellence and internal coordination across a 30 personteam.

A successful Manager of theProject Management Office at Project Equity will build capacityreduce friction and improve efficiency.

They will ensure ProjectEquity is driving to organizational and project goals whileensuring we are making informed budgetary decisions and managingtime.

A successful candidate will be prepared to jump into projectsthat have already kickedoff. This role may advance to taking onresponsibilities for how our work is scoped and budgeted as well asinform program goals and organizationalstrategies.

HOW YOU WILL SUPPORTPROJECT EQUITY S MISSION ANDGROWTH

ProjectManagement

Serve as an intermediary on severalcrossfunctional projects at a giventime :

Help define and document SMART(specific measurable achievable relevant and timebound)goals

Identify internal and externalstakeholders and document how decisions will bemade

Define key milestones and populatesystems and tools to track progress and facilitate both synchronousand asynchronouscommunication

Establish metrics on project costtime inputs and impact / outcomes

Drive projects forwardby :

Introducing Project Equity teams tocommon tools processes and systems and being an advocate for theiradoption for each and everyproject

Serve as a north star to projectgoals and have a process to park or tabledistractions

Drive decisions or approvals forwardwhen work is stalled

Provide early warning to any risksor threats to project s success

PMOLeadership

Execute a project management needsassessment discover points of friction in executing work andinventory current systems processes and procedures used across theorganization

Create socialize and promotestandard checklists and processes that will evolve over time forproject launch task & resource planning risk assessment andprogress reporting

Create socialize and promote theadoption of tools and templates that will evolve over time to scopelaunch track tasks track time and see progress on activeprojects

Help define broader goals intodiscrete projects for more effective budgeting & planningfundraising / sales and impact &communication

OtherActivities

Lead in the execution of key tasksor lines for projects fromtimetotime

Conduct and support as needed deskresearch for project scoping andexecution

Advise on system or technology needsfor the PMO andorganization

Perform additional duties andactivities as assigned

Compensation

Thestarting salary for this position will be in the range of $75000$82000 on an annual fulltime basis. Compensation is commensurate with experience and the requiredqualifications of the role.

Project Equity is currently anindependent operating project of the nonprofit umbrellaorganization Multiplier a nationally recognized nonprofit with agrowing portfolio of innovative initiatives that conserve andprotect a sustainable and resilient world( ).

Inthe foreseeable future Project Equity will be spinning out tobecome an independent nonprofitorganization.

Requirements

Atleast 5 years in a combination of advanced training / degree orexperience in a business administration role preferably in a firmor organization of between 10 and 50 employees.

Experience in thenonprofit or social sector is aplus.

Youhave had exposure to business operations corporate accounting and avariety of business functions and enjoy learning about suchareas.

Platformand application knowledge with a combination of the following is aplus : Asana Salesforce Google Workspace Microsoft Office orFormAssembly.

Demonstratedproficiency in managing work and projects is strongly preferred.Experience training and / or certification using standard projectmanagement methods systems or tools is highly desirable.

A PMP orCAPM certification is not required but aplus.

Thisposition can be located remote from anywhere with a normal workingschedule set during U.S. standard business hours. The currentsupervisor for this role is based in Chicago Illinois.

Occasionalinperson coworking may be requested for a successful candidatebased in Chicago Oakland / Bay Area or Greater LosAngeles.

Highlyproficient or native English language skills required. Multilingualskills in Spanish or another language is aplus.
