About The Position
A rural hospital is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
You can enjoy a scenic drive, a nature hike, view a couple of art galleries, enjoy a fine meal and catch a jazz concert while on assignment in western Virginia!
The role includes in-clinic follow-up, procedures, rounding, and operating room duties. Clinic hours are Tuesday all day, Wednesday afternoon, and Friday until noon.
Surgery is scheduled for full days on Monday and Thursday, with Wednesday morning also dedicated to surgery. The facility has 130 beds, handles no trauma cases, and the credentialing process takes about 90 days.
