Portfolio Management Risk Specialist
As a Principal Risk Specialist - Portfolio Management within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) - Models and Advanced Data Insights (MADI) organization, you will play a key role in building and leading portfolio management / product operations practices that enable an end to end view of the intent and delivery pipeline.
You will also have opportunities in building future state delivery practices to ensure the highest priority work flows smoothly through our delivery ecosystem.
The role will be working with cross functional MADI teams that include Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Risk Managers, and Delivery Leads.
On any given day you will be :
Building relationships, collaborating, and communicating directly with Product, Delivery and Sr Leaders to manage the intake, prioritization and slotting of intent
Designing, developing, and managing capacity & demand views within a complex and dynamic environment
Partnering with agile teams to bring deeper analytics to planning and delivery target development
Partnering cross-functionally with product, tech, and analysts to understand pain points and implement portfolio management / product operations solutions that address those pain points
Implementing and maintaining key metrics that further inform the health of the portfolio and leadership decision making
Partnering with the Program Management team to build and implement future state agile delivery practices that enable seamless flow / delivery of work
Showing a willingness to learn and an intellectual curiosity to better understand AML, MADI, and delivery processes to identify areas for improvement
The Successful Candidate :
Demonstrates outstanding communication and partnership skills that are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels
Effectively influences efforts and delivers portfolio management solutions through cross functional teams
Leverages subject matter expertise to solve complex problems and drive action across the portfolio
Has a bias towards action and iteration, with an ability to prioritize efforts against key deliverables
Considers end to end impacts (the big picture) in designing & proposition solutions
Is technology fluent (or conversational) - need to be able to work in a technology world
Comfortable and capable of leading cross functional teams that are pulled together to solve a problem
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or military experience
At least 3 years of Agile Delivery experience
At least 2 years of Program Management or 2 years of Portfolio Management experience
Preferred Qualifications :
5+ years of Agile Delivery experience in Financial Services or Tech company
4+ years of Program Management experience or 4+ years of Portfolio Management experience
Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Six Sigma certification
