About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night - 3x10-Hour - 22 : 00 - 08 : 30 (30 Hours) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in X-Ray technology License : Permanent Ohio license required;
compact licenses accepted for certain start dates Certifications : ARRT, CPR Must-Have : - Must be nicotine-free; negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start - Two supervisory references required, one from the past 12 months - Onsite fingerprinting required Job Description : - Perform all Emergency Department general X-ray exams, including reductions / traumas and pediatric exams - Conduct portable X-rays in various units and on floors - Utilize systems such as Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, Orthoscan mini-C-arm - Required to assist with coverage during the holiday period, specifically Christmas and New Year's - Participate in on-call rotations - Wear navy scrubs - Complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both is mandatory - Strict policy against contacting the facility directly
