We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician II Psych Adult like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mental Health Technician II provides patient care and supervision under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The MHT II provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environmental / instrumentation, and other health care members.

The MHT II is a safety champion, milieu manager, and preceptor for MHT Is. The MHT II functions as a member of the therapeutic team within limits as designated by the policies and procedures of RPC.

What qualifications you will need :

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• BA in related field or some college with 10+ MHT years experience required

Vocational or Technical Degree such as Emergency Medical Technician preferred

CNA Preferred

May substitute 10 years inpatient experience in lieu of education requirement
